The Superclassic.


The Chilean Superclásico is the party that faces Colo Colo and Universidad de Chile. The first official match was played between August 7, 1938 (Colo Colo win by 6 goals to 0).

A total of 210 official games played in which Colo Colo has won 92 games and scored 345 goals, Universidad de Chile has won 58 games and scored 255 goals, and both have tied 60 games.

A victory for Colo Colo was highlighted:
On October 29, 2006 Colo Colo managed to end a poor run of seven years without a win against Universidad de Chile at the Estadio Monumental. Defeated 4-2 with annotations of Humberto Suazo, Alexis Sanchez and Alvaro Ormeno.

A remarkable victory of the University of Chile:
On February 8, 2004 in a match valid for the first opening of the championship, Universidad de Chile achieved its best result in history scored 4-0.

In 2007, in the semifinals of closing, Universidad de Chile witnessed one of the most violent classical history. And in the second leg Colo Colo opened the scoring with a goal by Gustavo Biscayzacu, University of Chile to win was to mark four goals.
